Vastu, numbers and interiors · Ready-made brand
Uttar
It means north. It also means answer.
- What is inside
- Name, logo and north mark, the nine squares, colour, materials, voice, the compass, a house read by direction, the numbers, eleven services, the reading, objects, the studio, social and sources.
- Where it stands
- Ready-made. A complete identity, waiting for its owner.

The idea
Uttar is the Hindi word for north, and for answer. So this is a Vastu practice that starts with the compass, not with fear.
One grid holds everything: the nine squares of the old house plan, with the middle left empty on purpose. The A in the name is a compass needle. And a reading ends in four quiet marks: leave it, turn it, move it and, rarely, rebuild.
Play with it
Furniture before walls.
Put each thing in a square and Uttar says what it would do. Then turn the house, and read it again.
Six things to place
The reading
- Nothing placed yet. Pick a thing, then a square.
रहने दें Leave as it is
घुमा दें Turn it
खिसका दें Move it
बदल दें Rebuild. Rare, and not in this game
Type a name. Each letter has a number, and the numbers add up to one.
The squares follow the brand book’s compass page, and the letters follow its Chaldean table. A reading from a person looks at a great deal more than this.

The Hindi, the placements and the number tables are written from research, and are checked by a native speaker, a Vastu consultant and a numerologist before anything is printed. The keepers of the directions are named, never drawn.
